Surely Im not the only one that's noticed that this country was fairly sane until Obama came along and wrecked everything. He destroyed everything right down to the earliest part of our education system. There is no peaceful way to come back from this.

It certainly appeared to be sane, but after JFK they hid everything that was going on behind the "D vs R 'you have a vote'" theme...

It's been incremental.

Things were relatively normal, both sides, until those two Arkansas hillbilly grifters crawled out of the ooze, and took the Stupid Party over. They fought, but not hard - those two were, under the skin and slime, JUST LIKE Beltway swamp creatures.

Things got nutty. Remember the Bimbo Eruptions Unit? Nuts-and-Sluts. That's where the term came from - Carville's potty-mouth. Remember the firing of Billy Dale? Those of us who knew of it, not many, since the media spiked the story...were outraged. Using the legal system to destroy those in the way of crony placements, in this case the WH Travel Office.

Impeachment. Which, never mind the media lies, was NOT for sex; it was for misappropriating government money to use Interns' pay and positions to recruit sex toys. AND for lying under oath to Congress about relevant, provable related issues.

Out of that, the best the Silly Party (not the Stupid Party, although they're co-joined) could find was the son of the most nondescript President in history. Chester Arthur was dynamic compared to W.

He stopped the degrading trend, but did not reverse; and he let the neo-cons push him into a war. Remember the tense week between September 11 and his address to Congress? Bush was not inherently a Moar-War type. He was completely without ambition. But he got USED by the Endless War types.

Out of THAT, the Stupid Party found the ONE prominent member ABSOLUTELY unqualified for the Presidency - a Kenyan national - and rewrote his history. Why? Probably just to see if they could.

They could, they did, and while the Clintonoid DemocRats were just trashy and lawless, the Obombatons were lawless, racialist, and eagerly destroying America.

And that's where they are now.

Project Veritas admits there was no evidence of election fraud at Pennsylvania post office in 2020​

ERIE, Pa. (AP) — The conservative group Project Veritas and its former leader are taking the unusual step of publicly acknowledging that claims of ballot mishandling at a Pennsylvania post office in 2020 were untrue.

The statements from Project Veritas and founder James O’Keefe came as a lawsuit filed against them by a Pennsylvania postmaster was settled Monday.

The group produced videos in the wake of the 2020 presidential election based on claims from a postal worker in Erie, Pennsylvania, who said he had overheard a conversation between the postmaster and a supervisor about illegally backdating mail-in presidential ballots.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Republican U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington state says she will not seek reelection after two decades in Congress.

McMorris Rodgers, 54, the chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, said in a statement Thursday she made the decision “after much prayer and reflection.”

WOODBURY, N.Y. — Democratic former Rep. Tom Suozzi is heading back to Congress after he won the special election in New York’s 3rd District to replace former GOP Rep. George Santos, NBC News projects.

Suozzi’s victory Tuesday over Republican Mazi Pilip cuts Republicans’ already razor-thin House majority by one seat, making legislating even more difficult moving forward. And it could provide a guide for Democrats competing in similar competitive districts this fall, especially when it comes to navigating their political vulnerability on immigration and border security.

It's not good, but I'm not gonna panic.

People are wising up. They aren't swayed by the Clintonoid Nooze Nutwork, they're not gonna be impressed by Radio Soros.

...what's he gonna use for programming? Air America went where it belongs...the ash can. He gonna have the current crop of neocon yakkers, like Fawn Vanity, and then have hour-long AI Fact-Checking on them after each program?

Or is he gonna MASSAGE Vanity's message? Makes no difference to me. He's got little I want to hear. Limbaugh gave him a great start, but he's a literal meathead. Dead from the neck up.

I don't play with mAss Media anymore. No idiot box; no syndicated program off the radio dial. Like our government, our media has gotten too insular and contemptuous of us.
 
Ya I agree... IMO it's just more good money after bad. If he goes too hard it will just kill off those stations. It's not like radio is some SMCI growth sector going stupid crazy.

Sen. Joe Manchin, the Democrat from West Virginia, announced Friday he will not launch a 2024 bid for the White House as an independent -- removing what would have been a major challenge for President Joe Biden's campaign.

"I will not be seeking a third-party run. I will not be involved in a presidential," Manchin said at an event at West Virginia University.

Manchin told the crowd that he will focus on putting his efforts behind his daughter's Super PAC "Americans Together."

Voted this am here in SC.... my polling place is kinda of rural, small townish. Light turn out but the poll workers did indeed seem confused with the process... what has changed is that everyone is more aware of voting procedure. People are watching the workers and system like hawks, the general distrust is growing rapidly and by November riots will ensue if what happened at 3am in 2020 repeats in 24.
