Lower his tax burden or to give his lawyers a toe hold argument when both he and his wretched wife get fingered for insider trading?
When she does it, insider trading is legal.

Insider trading for Congress members

Simply put, insider trading is illegal. But, if you are a member of Congress, there is a loophole. Members of Congress and their families are allowed to trade stocks with almost no limitations. There isn’t a limit on lawmakers trading stocks based on classified information nor is there oversight regarding the trades that lawmakers are allowed to make based on other information they are privy to as part of their job. This is in glaring contrast to the strict insider trading laws that ban the same kind of behavior of everyone else in the county

FIRST damn' thing I thought of. Just with the headline. Obvious. And it will work in our poisoned society.

Oh, God, where did my America go?

Rules for thee - not for me. Crap like this is why a lot of peeps can't stand anyone in power.

The last time ordinary folks got this pissed resulted in the Reign Of Terror in Frogistan. It is most ricky-tick NOT out of court right here in the USA.

The strangeness of that phenomenon is that when it does break, it breaks all the way and fast.

They've always been there, the corruption... but now it's being exposed...

One of the benefits of an educated population. The ability to see the truth of the graftnation.

I'm looking at why psychopaths are attracted to and in fact populate politics.

should have first escorted her and hubby out to drive out the demons

REPORT: Exorcists called to drive out demons from Nancy Pelosi’s home

January 22, 2023

Several Catholic priests were called to preform an “exorcism” at former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s home after her husband was severely attacked in November, according to her daughter and reports.

Alexandra Pelosi, the daughter of Pelosi, told the New York Times that her mother called priests to perform an exorcism of the house over Thanksgiving, according to Fox News. The exorcism, an ancient Catholic ritual to drive out demons, was preformed weeks after David DePape – a ruffian – allegedly attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer at his home. There are still questions surrounding this very strange incident.

Nancy Pelosi felt “guilty” that her husband was injured by a man who was looking for her, said her daughter.

“I think that weighed really heavy on her soul,” Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, told The New York Times. “I think she felt really guilty. I think that really broke her. Over Thanksgiving, she had priests coming, trying to have an exorcism of the house and having prayer services…he’s a strong person, athletic. This has been tough. It’s going to be about three or four more months before he’s really back to normal.”

San Francisco Archdiocese Calls Out Pelosi for Lying About “Exorcism” At Her Home

By Chris
January 23, 2023

On Saturday, Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, stated that the scandal involving her dad, Paul Pelosi, prompted her mother to conduct an exorcism on their home in San Francisco.

“I think that weighed really heavy on her soul. I think she felt really guilty.” Alexandra told the New York Times. “I think that really broke her. Over Thanksgiving, she had priests coming, trying to have an exorcism of the house and having prayer services.”

It seems that it was all a lie.

The following day, the hosts of the FOX and Friends weekend program reported that no exorcism had taken place at the Pelosi home.

This information was also confirmed by the local Catholic Church.

Rachel Campos-Duffy, a host on the FOX and Friends Weekend program, added “Well, her radical anti-Life position should weigh more heavily on her soul. And she is not allowed to receive Communion in San Francisco.”

According to Peter Marlow, the Executive Director of Communications and Media Relations at the San Francisco Archdiocese no such exercism took place.

“The Archdiocese is unaware of the exorcism question you raised,” he said.

As we previously reported, Mr. Pelosi was allegedly attacked in the middle of the night at the Pelosi’s San Francisco home by an intruder.

The Daily Wire reports:

David DePape, 42, allegedly struck Mr. Pelosi with a hammer when police arrived at the San Francisco home in October. The alleged intruder was reportedly demanding to know the then-Speaker’s whereabouts.
Prosecutors charged DePape with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and elder abuse, Fox News reported. However, the accused pleaded not guilty to state and federal charges, including allegations he planned to kidnap Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi was recently asked if the attack on her husband was the reason she stepped down as speaker.

“I was probably going to go anyway,” Pelosi said, continuing, “say we won by 20 votes and it was a big thing, I might have stayed. It’s true that I had two thoughts in mind when I went to the floor, to stay or not to stay. It was time to move on.”

“If Hillary had won, I could have left,” Pelosi said. “But I was not going to let Donald Trump have his way with the government.”

That vile, drunken slag doesn't have a soul.

an aside... wasn't it Obama who signed a bill allowing propaganda to be used on Americans?
Yes. The Smith-Mundt modernization act.

It made it legal for gov propaganda produced for foreign peoples, to also be used here on Americans.

Prior to that, it was illegal for gov to do that.

That is misinformAtion.

It is a fact that the ban on gov propaganda being shown/used domestically was in fact lifted in 2013.

What I posted in the post above yours, is 100% true and factual.
Actually, if you read it, it does say they’re now allowed to use government propaganda here that was before intended for the foreign market.

The U.S. Agency for Global Media “broadcasts news and information about the United States and the world to audiences abroad,” per USA.gov

The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act, contained within the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013, eased some restrictions so that media produced by the U.S. Agency for Global Media and intended for foreign audiences could be distributed domestically upon request, according to its text. Prior to its passage, the content was banned from being disseminated in America.

Exactly. The fact checkers all try to debunk the idea that it allowed news outlets to use propaganda. Those places have ALWAYS been "allowed" to use propaganda. They are their own organizations, and can broadcast whatever they want as long as it is not slanderous and they do not commit libel.

Per the vid, they were both at the door when it was opened. Paul obviously did not move away from the police and back toward his attacker.

Reports from those having previously seen the vid, were that Paul opened the door and then walked back towards his attacker.

This is a good example as to why the police, and gov in general should release any video right away instead trying to hide it and having to be taken to court to get it. It allows too much speculation that could have been avoided from the get-go.

Who opened the door?
It's an automatic door with a magnetic switch. Push the button and door opens.

Used in homes where wheelchair bound people need to open a door. That's why it opens smoothly as if someone was behind the door.

Okay. Thank you. From the way it opened, it almost was as if someone was behind it opening it.
